About Lydia

Lydia sits in an armchair wearing a white shirt with blue flowers next to a side table with two light blue mugs on it.

Lydia Cain, LPC, MS, NCC

I’ve wanted to be a therapist since I was in high school. I’m a second generation counselor — my mother worked with survivors of abuse as well — so I have a deep-rooted understanding of trauma.

Ever since I was young, I’ve had a talent for listening and relating to people. I love helping them feel heard and understood.

Texas Trauma Counselor

When I’m not working, I’m usually crafting. I can’t stay away from crafts, from quilting and embroidering to making earrings and scrapbooking — I love it so much!

I also love to go on walks and exercise. I’m married and a mama to two beautiful boys.
